My name is Julian Swart and I hold a Master’s in Business Analytics from the University of Tennessee. I started this website to show my enthusiam for statistics, programming, and problem-solving. More generally, I am interested in business, math, philosophy, and economics.

I am currently working as a remote Analytics Engineer in my second stint with Pilot Company. In this role, I transform the results of data science models into customized Shiny applications for business users. Prior to that, I spent 4 years as a Data Scientist at Vans and worked as a Data Strategist at Pilot Company for 2 years. In my two previous roles, my emphasis was on consumer insights, specifically revolving around loyalty and marketing.

I live in Wilmington, NC and my hobbies include surfing, fishing, guitar, photography, kamado joe cooking, exercising, reading, and listening to audiobooks/podcasts.
